You are invited to join us on Thursday November 3rd 7pm at Faith Lutheran Church

Faith Lutheran Church has invited Jessica Hutchison, Advance Care Planning Community Engagement Lead, to help us to start those difficult conversations and decision making with ouimg_5325r loved-ones and families most of us hesitate to bring up.
She will talk to us about planning ahead, she will help us to understand what is a substitute decision maker, and what we need to understand about a power of attorney for personal care and property!
She will encourage us to speak with our loved ones about our wishes, values and beliefs while we can!

You are invited to join us on Thursday November 3rd 7pm at Faith Lutheran Church (290 Belsyde Ave East, Fergus)

All are welcome!

If possible, let us know prior to Sun Oct 30th, so that Jessica will know to bring enough handouts!

On All Saints’ Sunday November 6th, the LEUPOLD CHORALE will host a Liturgy of Choral Compline at 7:30 pm at Mount Zion Lutheran Church, 29 Westmount Road South, Waterloo. Patterned after the weekly Choral Compline offered at St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral in Seattle, our Leupold Chorale will lead in Compline, and include choral works of the season. Founded in 2009, the Leupold Chorale strives to foster and preserve the performance of the music of the Lutheran Church and the continental Reformation, the early music of other Christian traditions, and other sacred music of the church rarely heard today. Our name honours the life and ministry of Ulrich Leupold, pastor, teacher, scholar, theologian, and musician, who lived and worked in our community during the last century.image003
